Licensing Question

My company has purchased "Site license for Desktop PCs" for VintaSoft Imaging and Annotations. We have several cases where Windows Server OS is used in single user mode.

Your licensing defines a Server as follows:

"Server is a non-user physical or virtual computer, operated by Windows Server OS, configured with the intention of multiple users accessing it as a service run as an automated process."

We have not configured it for multiple user access. Is licensing determined solely by the operating system?

Hello,

You need License for Desktop PCs if your application is executed on desktop or remote desktop. You need License for Servers if your application is executed on Windows server.

Best regards, Alexander
